Harris Teeter Weekly Menu September 11-17, 2011

I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend and hopefully a day off! I was so lucky to have my sister come and visit me. While she was here, she shared an awesome recipe that is easy to make from the vegetables in her garden. It sounded so delicious I had to put it on this week's menu. Even though we don't have a garden (very jealous of how budget-savvy it is!) the Zucchini and Tomato Rotini recipe is still low cost and healthy! For any new readers, the weekly menu is based off of 2 servings per meal so you may need to adjust your shopping depending on how many people you are cooking for. The total this week is approximately $44 (without tax). That's two back-to-back weeks well under $50! Is anyone else as excited as I am? Be sure to check out the other great deals this week and how to make breakfast, lunch, and snack items from your purchases. *Buy the rotisserie chicken on Sunday for the $4.99 each price. Otherwise, it is $6.99 each. You can also check in the evenings when they often place coupons on the chickens to get rid of them. Store chicken in the refrigerator until ready to use.
