Harris Teeter Weekly Menu September 4-10, 2011

Depending on the items available in your refrigerator or pantry, this is a cheap week!  The weekly menu items total under $40…a perfect example of how stocking up will help you save. This is also a big mix and match week with two recipes where you can use pork or chicken, depending on your taste preference and/or what you have in your freezer. Not only is this week cheap but easy as well! We're bringing out the Crockpot for two meals and the chicken for the Stuffed Pasta Shells recipe will be made already from the Roast Chicken recipe. Plus, who doesn't love breakfast for dinner? If you're tailgating on Saturday, the pulled pork or chicken would make great sandwiches to enjoy before the game. Just make the night before and you're good to go!

The shopping list now has the corresponding letter for each meal placed by the item on the list that you need to make that recipe. Su=Sunday, M=Monday, T=Tuesday, W=Wednesday, Th= Thursday, F=Friday, Sa=Saturday. Hopefully this will help you sort through the list if you aren't making all seven meals.
